incredible bit of software. perfectly mimics windows start menu. only (for life of product). developed by stardock, trusted. new and improved releases regularly. tiny file size and low resource usage. this review's especially for lord troll iv of lameville.

gotta say, i think this is a bad idea from microsoft. windows 7 is a great operating system and has run everything i've thrown at it without needing a virtual xp.i also feel it is going to slow down the adoption of 64 bit in retail as many companies will say 'keep using the old 32 bit version in xp mode" rather than fork out to make new drivers, ect.we need to completely break with the past, it really is time that 32 bit software was abandoned. hopefully windows 8 will only be available in 64 bit, and it won't have any kind of backwards compatibility with 32 bit applications.

comodo firewall... yes, and one of the best around, although i find privatefirewall much better.comodo other products.. no, specially not their avhowever, i see that comodo is trying to stick too much into their firewall, which needs some tweaking to disable them as they will only slow your computer down.i'm afraid they are heading toward the same destination as most of softwares, making it bloated and full of useless things.

just found this program a few weeks ago, after toying with it, i've decided to drop tc, the program i've used to use, tc is not stable in it's final 64bit build, but this little gem is rock solid, it's very flexible, and i like the way it's heading.tc has some features not found in this program, but fc certainly has some features not found in tc too, and those features are of more use to me than the ones in tc.btw.don't get me wrong tc is a great program, i've used it for years and have been a happy user, i've just found a program i like better.

doesn't work nearly as well as they say it does...i'd feel better if there was a positive review by someone other than the guy who wrote it!!!

i agree and disagree with jaco. as it stands freebasic is not an enterprise ready language. from the stand point of a system developer, freebasic has a long way to go before it is ready for large applications. once freebasic has implamented true oop it will then be ready for real use. we just have to remember, true oop is for the reuse of code. nothing else. sure a good programmer can write good code and most languages have simular syntax, but the true power of oop is the ability to reuse and extend the original code without having to change it at all. well written oop code allows for this. well written freebasic, quick basic dose not. yes a person can make the same mistakes in vb, asp, and vb.net as they can in freebasic. but the true oop languages are so much better for a programmer that can both think and write code in the oop way.
